On Tuesday 5th July Sleeper's Castle entered the bestseller list at No 3 after only 5 days. I am so thrilled. Back from my jaunt to London and in the 'real' world in Wales I heard the news (I can just about get 3G!) in the middle of a field below the mountains that form the backdrop for the book, where I was watching them bale the hay. There was no one nearby to share my joy and excitement except the dog. He was not impressed. I went home and offered to give him a sip from my mini bottle of Prosecco (kept in the fridge for emergencies). He didn't want any. But he graciously accepted a biscuit instead. Nothing like dogs to bring us back down to earth.
