Last  Friday I visited the new offices of HarperCollins to discuss the paperback launch of The Darkest Hour. What a superb workspace they now have. It is quite wonderful. I don’t think I would ever get any work done if I was based there. The windows have a panoramic view across the Thames to the Tower of London and the City and way beyond. At the meeting they unveiled their exciting plans for the launch accompanied by an impressive array of statistics which left me feeling very excited and positive. The meeting ended with champagne as all good meetings should!  That was a visit I shall remember for a long time.  Only 6 weeks until publication!
