I have just recorded a discussion with John Lanchaster  (with Mariella Frostrup in the chair) for Radio 4's Open Book. This will be broadcast on 13th Feb at 4 pm. The subject was how changing technology plays a part in novel plotting - in my case this was with reference to the huge differences from when I wrote Lady of Hay 25 years ago, and writing the sequel which brings  the story into the 21st century with my characters googling and using mobile phones.One of those discussions which could have gone on for hours!
