Segontium Plan of the site of the Roman fort

Looking towards the praetorium (Elen’s home  on and off for many years),  with beyond it a fragmentary view down towards the Menai Strait.

 Looking down towards the Strait from the modern town of Caernarfon shows what a fine vantage point the Romans had from their fort.

That’s me looking for clues!
